What to know
Built for the weather
The waterproof model has an IP67 case, sealed against dust and temporary immersion, so rain and washing are no problem. The compact model is rated IP54, which protects against splashes, so fit it where it stays dry.
Where to hide it
Under the seat or behind the fairings, with as clear a view of the sky as possible. Avoid closed metal boxes, which block satellite signals.
Its battery is a backup
The tracker is wired to the motorcycle’s battery. Its internal battery is a backup, not a power source: it keeps reporting for a while if the power is disconnected.
